Lenovo announced at the international innovation event in the United States, CES 2024, new ThinkBook products and accessories for the small and medium business (SMB) market, with innovative features, intelligent designs and AI PC enhancements.

All the ThinkBook computers that are announced include Intel's Core Ultra processors and Copilot as part of Windows 11 and they define one of the most significant changes in the architecture of personal computing in recent years. With AI PC innovation on all fronts, the Lenovo ThinkBook leads a new generation of productivity and creativity. Intel's Core Ultra processors include a built-in AI accelerator called a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that enables cost-effective acceleration for AI-based workflows.

The new ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid is a flexible hybrid solution with a laptop-based system that also includes a tablet that can work independently or integrated, to seamlessly switch between working in tablet or laptop mode. The solution offers a unique innovation in that it provides a hybrid experience that combines work with the Windows system and the Android system.

ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid allows the user to switch from laptop to tablet, and back, seamlessly. It consists of two products: a Microsoft Windows-based base system and a tablet, which can function separately as two devices or work together as a laptop, so users can easily switch between Windows 11 and Android. The computer actually consists of a ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid Station that can be used independently when connected to an external monitor, and a ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid Tab that can be detached and used independently.

The ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE is a revolutionary concept computer that leads the trend of smart covers. Users will be able to personalize the display of the outer cover with different patterns, creating a laptop with a unique look. The computer offers support for up to a thousand different images. The top cover with the changing colors will not affect the battery life of the computer, and even when it is turned off, the cover display can continue to change.

ThinkBook 14 i Gen 6+ is a powerful, versatile and smart laptop with an amazing display of up to 14.5 inches in 3K resolution that includes a graphics expansion connector (TGX) to support the new docking station, which increases the power of the computer's artificial intelligence.

ThinkBook Graphics Extension is a smart docking station that connects to ThinkBook 14 i Gen 6+ via a TGX connector. The station was developed in cooperation between Lenovo and NVIDIA, and it supports desktop graphics cards up to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX level that can significantly increase the computing power of artificial intelligence in combination with Intel's Core Ultra processor, and a harness of artificial intelligence features. The TGX cards are an ideal shared solution for workplace desktop environments where workers rotate, so that each can plug in their own ThinkBook14 laptop and access, when needed, the extra power needed for graphics-intensive or AI-based tasks.

In addition, Lenovo introduces the Mechanical Energy Harvesting Combo – a concept product that uses mechanical movement and solar radiation to power a mouse and keyboard, eliminating the need for external charging. The mouse and keyboard are ergonomically designed to ensure ease of use. The product supports both wireless connection via Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz dongle, which ensures connectivity to multiple devices. This proof-of-feasibility product is an innovative solution that fits Lenovo's commitment to implement greater sustainability support in its products.
