Anyway, I don't understand how in 2024, when the advanced technologies are capable of producing robots of all kinds, the revolutionary device that will take the burden and hassle involved in taking care of the laundry for all the members of the household has not yet been invented. An average family with a pair of parents and two or three children produces a commercial amount of dirty laundry and in an average home in Israel there are scattered tubs, laundry baskets, an iron + board, mountains of dirty laundry waiting to be washed and clean laundry waiting to be folded. Chaos and chaos.
I admit that I arrived skeptical, as with any test that guarantees a high level of efficiency, one that I have not yet known. Although in Israel there is a perception that combining machines is less good, but in Europe for example, combined machines like these occupy a respectable share of about 40% of the market - maybe the Europeans know something that we don't yet? Beyond the savings in electricity and water consumption that is guaranteed by the manufacturer and is a bit difficult to test, I declare with full confidence and from real experience that the laundry this month required me to do much less work, less awkwardness and less frustration that I forgot to transfer the wet clothes from the machine to the dryer (it takes 5-6 hours for them to stink in this condition) and to require a restart - I've already stopped counting how many times it's happened to me.
The program I've tried endlessly is the short program that guarantees clean and dry laundry within an hour - and it works great! Apart from extremely thick towels and putters, all other types of laundry went in with light weight (up to 6 kg "c) And they came out after an hour, clean and dry. Sometimes, the level of drying was not enough and I added a short drying time or alternatively, for example, I hung them for an hour to dry around the house - and precisely in these cases, the laundry came out smelling better than ever.
I recognized that operating machines weighing less than the maximum capacity (9 kg) enjoy several advantages: the mountains of laundry at home are hardly noticeable, the clothes come out less wrinkled and more fragrant, the duration of operation is shortened and the noise level of the machine during operation is lower. The new model I tested allows additional functions which make the washing process more efficient and convenient: the machine can be operated only as a washing machine, only as a tumble dryer or a combined program. You can perform an additional wash, set the level of drying, decide on the desired drying time, there is a program for intensive treatment of stains before washing (I tried it and it worked excellent ) and also those found in all other advanced washing machines such as: selecting the desired temperature from a programmed range, spin/empty, delayed activation (in this case up to 20 hours), shortening the time of the selected program and more.
Combined operation in the machine I tested lasts between 6-8 hours, which means it is especially suitable for those who run a machine in the morning before going to work and return to clean and dry laundry at the end of the day. Another option is to run a machine at night, and wake up to clean and dry laundry in the morning. It is true, effective and suitable for certain people, these are their hours.
In other cases, the above-mentioned long duration of operation for each machine is too long to the point of being impossible. For families of working parents with small children, for example, taking care of household affairs takes place in the afternoon, while having other obligations such as driving children to classes, sitting with them on Lessons, prepare dinner, do the dishes, shower them before bed and maybe even put the dog down... the short program will allow them to finish more machines in less time (not including particularly dirty clothes). In my case, I must mention that I turned the short program into washing + drying within an hour, the home program is my particular favorite.
