Roni always suffers when it's cold. When the family decided to go to Jerusalem during the snow days we were blessed with in the middle of January, she did not hesitate before refusing to join but then a twist in the plot happened. Somehow, and not as a miracle, a promising coat rolled into her hands, one that knows how to keep warm even when it's very cold outside, but very (!) cold outside.
They assured her that this coat is warm, light and comfortable, wind and water resistant and most importantly - that it will keep her dry with a pleasant feeling of warmth while the children enjoy the snow. The thought that this time she could see them up close, take pictures and even play with them made her want to try. They got in the car (not before she charged the coat, yes, we'll explain), and headed towards the traffic jams that would eventually lead them to see snow in Jerusalem.
Warme's heating technology allows the jacket to be used in any situation and weather. The coat is safe to use and has undergone quality tests by the Israeli Standards Institute (MATI). It can be washed at a low temperature and any other portable battery can be used (in case the one that came with the coat breaks down or is lost), provided that it meets the maximum power indicated by the manufacturer: About 5V and 2A.
The 3 heating elements located in the upper body area are made of safety carbon fibers that are limited to heating at a temperature that does not pose a danger to the user. They provide heating to the chest area (right and left) and the middle of the back for an extended and continuous time between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the method of use, the operating mode and the battery power.
The product we tested is the Warme jacket with the heating technology and the test was done as mentioned in Jerusalem, at the end of January this year, when the temperature outside was only 2-4 degrees.
The jacket came with a rechargeable battery and an inner pocket specially designated for it. It has 3 heating modes that can be changed and controlled by the wearer: strong, medium and weak that change with a simple push of a button. The button is on the left sleeve of the coat, right in the vaccination area that we know well from the last two years. The coat, in its external shape, is suitable for both sexes, it is classic black, thin, lightweight and considered fashionable, similar in appearance to many coats that we see on people on cool days, and does not resemble in any way the heavy coats made of goose down (or whatever), which are usually worn on days of snow or in "extreme" cold.
Please note, as we mentioned, WARME has a UNISEX cut suitable for both women and men, and maybe this is why its sizes are relatively small. Therefore, a woman who usually wears sizes S or M will be forced to purchase it in size L. The coat provides a pleasant feeling of warmth (not for a continuous and extended time because then it already spreads heat that may be annoying).
At first, when you get out of the heated vehicle directly into the cold of the hilly streets of Jerusalem, you welcome the initiative. Who invented this genius?
But after about 15 minutes of using it on medium heat, the feeling is as if we placed a pillow of boiling water directly on a bare body - so we turned it off for a while and turned it on again as needed. The coat, with its flexibility and thanks to its light weight and thinness, is suitable for use at all hours of the day, for prolonged recreation outside the home or for extreme activity.
