Notre Dame Cathedral may reopen in late 2024 when a new spire is added to it.

The restoration lasted five years, after a devastating fire in 2019 that caused the roof to collapse and the central tower to collapse.

The iconic medieval monument immortalized in history, film and literature has been gradually rebuilt over the past five years.

The cathedral is one of France's most popular tourist attractions, so the reopening is a real treat. Especially since the opening was delayed due to disruptions in the schedule and the stopping of the restoration work due to the corona closures, the departure of the project leader and more.
