Bunk beds, invented already a few decades ago, are a dream of many children and an excellent solution for those who do not have enough space in the room for two separate beds or for those who want to save space.

In recent years, you can find bunk beds designed in a wide variety of styles - from traditional style, through classic and minimalist designs, to very colorful and whimsical models.

"Bunk beds are an ideal choice for a shared room for two siblings", explains Adi Hofman, marketing manager of the children's and youth furniture chain Etzmaleh, "it takes up relatively little space in the room and allows for the creation of a private and comfortable area for each child". Adi continues and emphasizes: "It is very important to ensure that the bunk bed meets the safety standards required by the Israeli Standards Institution. At Etzmaleh, we insist on compliance with all necessary safety standards". Hofman adds, "due to the increasing demand for bunk beds, the chain offers a variety of models and designs, including bunk beds where the bottom bed is 120 cm wide, as well as beds that are integrated in an L-shape".

"Combining a bunk bed in the room is a great solution for efficient use of space and creating a fascinating and unique atmosphere", notes designer Flavia Garcia Ben-Ze'ev, "We strive for spacious and open spaces, so when the children's room is relatively small, a bunk bed allows us to introduce a large and interesting element into the room while maintaining free floor space. This is an original and creative solution that adds depth and an additional dimension to the space and creates a unique atmosphere".
