3 reported dead; gunfire rings out in Cairo protest

CAIRO — Bursts of heavy gunfire were ringing out in Cairo's Tahrir Square Thursday morning, and a protest organizer said three anti-government demonstrators have been killed.
Mustafa al-Naggar said he saw the bodies of three dead protesters being carried toward an ambulance early Thursday morning. He said the automatic weapons fire directed into the square came from at least three locations off in the distance.
