5,660,000 Israelis can vote in January election

There are 5,100,00 citizens with the right to vote in Israel on January 22, according to figures released by the Central Bureau for Statistics on Wednesday.
Another 560,000 people are listed as having the right to vote, but live abroad.
The size of the current electorate grew by seven percent - 333,000 people - since the last election in 2009.
In 1949, there 506,567 Israelis with the right to vote in the first Knesset.
