80 percent of Gaza receiving financial aid, UNRWA reports

More and more young people, including school-aged children, have to drop out of schools and go onto streets to make a living in Gaza, according to a report released by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) recently.
The report showed that more than 80 percent of the region's 1.8 million people are receiving some form of financial aid as prolonged blockades and wars keep on strangling its economy. The unemployment rate in the region is now the world’s highest, according to the report.
