Arab shops in Hebron to reopen after 15 years

Around 70 shops in Hebron, in the area near the Cave of the Patriarchs, will reopen, after 15 years.
According to AFP, Hebron Mayor Dawud al-Zaatari said that "The Israeli army's leadership allowed the reopening of stores on Sahla Street, which runs from the area near the Ibrahimi mosque"
Al-Zaatari said that it will be the first time that the stores will be open since the second intifada in 2000.
Immediately after the news was announced, three shop owners reportedly rushed to unlock their shops but were not yet allowed to open the stores.
