Five people are dead after a series of shootings in Denver and Lakewood, Colorado, US media reported Tuesday morning.
Two women and one man were killed in Denver, and a second man was injured, according to the Denver Police Department.
An hour later the shooter reached Lakewood, killing another two people and injuring two more, including a police officer.
The suspect was killed during an attempt to capture him, and police are investigating the specifics of the incident.
