Shots fired from Egypt into Israel

Residents of the town of Shlomit in the Eshkol region near the Egyptian border reported hearing gunshots from the direction of Egypt, Hebrew news sources reported on Thursday evening.

A car was hit by a bullet but no injuries were reported, KAN News reported.

The IDF investigated the incident and reported that the shots were probably stray bullets unintentionally directed in Israel's direction.
