420 acres of minefield area near Dead Sea cleared for civilian use

The Defense Ministry's Israeli Mine Action Authority (INMAA) cleared out 170 hectares (approximately 420 acres) of mineland in three areas in the southern Dead Sea region: Nahal Tamar, Neot Hakikar and Neot Hovev. 

The cleared land will be used for agriculture, tourism and industry.
