The IDF reported an attempted shooting attack at Kibbutz Ma'ale Gilboa in northern Israel on Monday evening.

There were no injuries reported, although there was property damage. IDF soldiers searched the area for the suspect.

According to Ynet, the attack came from the direction of the separation fence and took place while everyone was outside amid preparations for the incoming Passover holiday.

According to Palestinian media reports, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group and a faction belonging to the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade claimed responsibility for the attack.

"Terrorism in Samaria, Gush Etzion, Elad, and Tel Aviv is the same terrorism which threatens the entire State of Israel. Whoever draws an imaginary line... and thinks the problems in Judea and Samaria only apply there, doesn't understand that the terrorists seek to destroy all of Israel."

"Terrorism in Samaria, Gush Etzion, Elad, and Tel Aviv is the same terrorism that threatens the entire State of Israel. Whoever draws an imaginary line... and thinks the problems in Judea and Samaria only apply there, doesn't understand that the terrorists seek to destroy all of Israel," said Ne'eman, who also serves as the Gush Etzion Regional Council head.

"The continued development of communities throughout Israel while halting the Palestinian Authority's terror apparatus and hate education will bring back quiet to the area."

This is a developing story.
