Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said on Wednesday that the strike that killed hundreds at a hospital in Gaza was an "unjustifiable tragedy," renewing his calls for international humanitarian intervention and a ceasefire in the region.
"The innocent cannot pay for the insanity of war," Lula wrote on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
