Ban Ki-moon demands Myanmar release political prisoners

UNITED NATIONS — On the eve of Aung San Suu Kyi@@@s 65th birthday, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is demanding that Myanmar@@@s military rulers release the detained pro-democracy leader and all other political prisoners.
The UN chief told a news conference Friday he remains "deeply concerned" that the Nobel Peace Prize laureate is still under house arrest.
Ban said all political prisoners should be released without condition as soon as possible so they can participate in elections this year.
