Bar-Lev accuser 'Alef' revealed as Dr. Orly Innes

The former Public Security Ministry employee, known as "Alef," who claims to have been sexually harassed by Police Cmdr. Uri Bar-Lev was revealed as Dr. Orly Innes on Thursday evening when she addressed the Sexual Assault Victims' Help Center Assembly being held at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

"My name is Orly Innes. I'm no longer "alef," I'm not hiding, I'm not ashamed, I did nothing wrong, i'm not scared," said Innes

"I came here to say enough. This is me, this is my name...I'm here personally and publicly as someone who tried to help those who were victims of these crimes for years."

Innes added that she was there to deliver the message that "when a woman says no she means no.

Innes is a doctor of criminology and a veteran social worker.
