Mayor Nir Barkat spoke with the Jerusalem police district commander on Sunday, telling him the destruction of posters and advertisements featuring women on them must be stopped, according to a press release from the capital city's municipality.
"We need to eradicate this phenomena," Barkat said. "It is our duty to make sure that advertisers interested in using pictures of women on billboards throughout the city will be able to without fear of vandalism."
