Brazil: Keep negotiating with Iran on nuke program

RIO DE JANEIRO — Brazil's foreign minister is pushing anew for negotiations with Iran on its nuclear program, in lieu of new sanctions.
Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim hosted International Atomic Energy Agency head Yukiya Amano in Rio on Tuesday.
He said global powers should push a proposal that would see Iran's uranium enriched outside that nation. Iran, however, already rejected a similar plan that was pushed by the IAEA last year.
Amano said that proposal remains on the table.
