Britain: G8 agrees urgent Libya response needed

PARIS - Group of Eight powers agree on the need for further measures to tackle the Libya crisis and a UN Security Council debate on the matter, Britain's foreign minister said on Tuesday.
Foreign Secretary William Hague, in Paris for talks among G8 foreign ministers, told reporters: "There is a common appetite for further discussion at the UN Security Council. We are clear here at the G8 that there is a need for further measures, a need to respond urgently."
