Yisrael Beytenu MK Kirschenbaum stays in politics at Liberman's insistence

Faina Kirschenbaum, the parliamentarian and deputy minister who was arrested as part of a widespread corruption probe, has been persuaded by her party chairman, Avigdor Liberman, to remain in politics.
Earlier on Friday, Channel 2 reported that Kirschenbaum was quitting politics due to the expanding criminal investigation against her and other party functionaries suspected of a litany of graft-related offenses.
Kirschenbaum was arrested last week on suspicion of being involved in a far-reaching corruption scandal that is already being referred to as one of the biggest cases in the history of the state.
