Cmdr. Franco: No definite link between the 2 mutilated bodies

Deputy Israel Police Commissioner Cmdr. Ilan Franco told Israel Radio on Sunday morning that there were no definite leads which point to a connection between the two mutilated female bodies recently found in central Israel. Franco said that despite the two murders, as well as Friday night's lynch on a Tel Aviv beach, the Israel Police was not in any kind of crisis, and that Insp.-Gen. David Cohen was leading the investigations "professionally and efficiently." "We must remember that the responses were quick and efficient," he added. "The investigations are top priority in the police and we're exerting maximum effort."
