A meeting of the Labor, Welfare and Health Committee on grants for those who were unemployed due to the coronavirus crisis was cancelled at the last minte after committee chairman Haim Katz demanded that grants be provided to some soldiers and national service volunteers as well.
Katz stated last week that he would not approve the grants that the Finance Ministry had requested for the unemployed, unless they addressed soldiers with families and national service volunteers who were fired as well.
