Company in India dispatches woman's body to Israel

The body of Tamar Farha Abraham was dispatched to to Israel from Bangalore, India on Tuesday, the Times of India reported. Neither family member members nor any Israeli embassy official came to Bangalore to receive the body, which had to be transported first via a private courier service to Mumbai and then to Israel.
Affirmative identification results of the body were sent from the Israeli embassy Monday, initiating the dispatching process.
After receiving permission from Tamar's parents, police reportedly said that a company called John Pinto International took on the responsibility of transporting the body from Mumbai to Israel after receiving it from the Kumar Ambulance services in Bangalore.
Tamar, a yoga instructor from Jerusalem, was murdered allegedly by Lokesh Chandra Das, a yoga instructor, who subsequently stuffed the girl's body in a freezer for 15 days. The Times of India reported that her parents had become estranged, and her father left Israel to live in Sweden.
