Counterterrorism bureau downgrades Turkey travel warning

The National Security Council's Counterterrorism Bureau announced Tuesday that it has downgraded the travel warning for Turkey to that of "continuing potential threat," the lowest of the four travel warning levels.
The counterterrorism bureau emphasized that it still recommends that Israelis "avoid non-essential travel to Turkey or, at least, to be especially alert and cautious."
The bureau's statement added that "a continuing threat of terrorist attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets exists in Turkey."
