Court commutes Eritrean refugee's sentence

The Supreme Court on Friday shortened an Eritrean refugee's prison sentence over attacking and injuring his brother-in-law, Israel Radio reported.
Alidimikael Mariam will serve 9.5 years instead of the 11 in his original sentence. The ruling took into account Mariam's difficult life circumstances and sought help for the victim after the attack.
