Drunken Arab brawler lightly hurt when shot in leg in J'lem

An Arab was lightly wounded on Thursday night when he was shot by a Jewish man in Jerusalem, police said.
The incident occurred after five drunken Arabs started fighting amongst themselves on the capital’s Peletz Street, near Sultan's Pool. The Jewish man, who lives nearby, descended from his home to tell the group to keep the noise down.
The Arabs then tried to attack him, at which point the Jewish resident of the area pulled out his gun and shot one of the men in the leg.
The casualty was evacuated to the capital’s Shaare Zedek Hospital, while all other involved parties were arrested.
