Efraim commander: Violent settler activists a minority

Efraim brigade commander Col. Ran Kahane said that despite the violent actions of settlers against his military base and personnel, he knew that most settlers were "excellent people."
Speaking to a group of chief rabbis from West Bank Jewish settlements, Kahane said he thought most settlers "disapprove of these actions. Some are even my good friends."
Kahane said that the activists who attacked the Efraim base are part of a radical minority, and that his brigade would continue its mission "to protect the settlements in Judea and Samaria."
