Egypt TV anchor: We stopped Schalit interview in middle

The Egyptian State TV journalist who interviewed Gilad Schalit, Shahira Amin, said that the interview with Gilad Schalit just after his release from Gaza was stopped halfway through after she sensed he was tired, Channel 2 reported.

Amin insisted that she wrote the questions she asked Schalit, and that neither Hamas nor Egyptian security officials interfered with Amin's interview.

Despite Israeli officials calling the interview "exploitative," Amin insisted that had Gilad wanted to stop the interview, or refrain from giving one at all, the journalist would have respected that.
