FADC, German parliament to establish first joint committee

The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and the German parliament on Wednesday agreed upon the establishment of their first joint committee.

The new cooperation agreement was arranged by the German Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Dr. Ruprecht Polenz and MK Meir Sheetrit (Kadima). The FADC previously signed similar agreements with the corresponding committees in Russia and the United States.

The aim of the agreement is to strengthen the political and security relations between the countries, on the basis of a work program including reciprocal visits, joint tours and meetings with officials to promote the common interests of both countries.
