Fatah and Hamas praise UNHRC flotilla probe

Fatah and Hamas praised the UN Human Rights Council's Friday appointment of a team of international experts to investigate Israel's May 31 raid of a Gaza-bound aid flotilla in which nine pro-Palestinian activists were killed, Israel Radio reported on Saturday.
Fatah Spokesman Ahmed A'saf said that Israel should not be treated as if it was above the law and that Israeli war criminals should be tried for their actions.
Hamas political consultant Yusuf Rizka expressed concerns that Israel would not cooperate with the investigative team which could damage the investigation's findings.  He added that Hamas hopes the investigation will lead to the experts recommending that Israel stop the sea and land blockade of Gaza.
