Food price protesters to take to the streets

Twenty groups of protesters were expected to visit supermarkets on Thursday afternoon in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Rishon Lezion, Beersheva, Zichron Ya'akov, Hod Hasharon, Rehovot, Holon, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Ramla, Haifa and Netanya, Globes reported on Tuesday.
Dudi Machpud, one of the boycott leaders said, "We will stand outside the supermarkets and hand out pamphlets and speak to consumers, so they will understand what is taking place and that our struggle is carrying on... They say that the boycott succeeded and the consumers won, even though it is not true. Putting down the price of cottage cheese is a drop in the ocean, and what is required is real revolution."
The pamphlets being prepared were said to iinclude a table comparing prices of products in Israel with countries abroad.
