Foreign Ministry checking if Israeli killed in Mali terror attack

The Foreign Ministry said Saturday that it was looking into reports of an Israeli being killed during a terror attack that saw 21 die in Mali Friday.
One Israeli was rescued in the event, the ministry added.
Malian special forces stormed a luxury hotel in Bamako on Friday after Islamist gunmen took 170 people including many foreigners hostage in the capital of the former French colony, which has been battling rebels allied to al-Qaida for several years.
