Former IDF chief of General Staff Dan Halutz told Channel 2 on Saturday that he was considering entering politics.
"If you ask if I am considering entering politics, the thought has entered my mind but I haven?t made a decision yet," Halutz said on the Meet the Press program.
In an interview with Yediot Aharonot last week, he said he supported peaces talks with Syria and the Palestinians and complained about a law requiring a three-year cooling off period before former IDF officers can enter politics.
He called his rival, Vice Premier Moshe Ya'alon a "hypocrite" and a "snake."
