Hamas leader: prisoner swap happiest day of my life

London based Arabic language daily Al Hayat on Thursday reported that Hamas' military leader Ahmed Jabari said the date of the historic prisoner swap was the "happiest day of my life."

On Tuesday Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization carried out a prisoner swap in which Israel released 477 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Gilad Schalit, an Israeli soldier held captive by the terror organization in Gaza since 2006.

Jabari also reported that the prisoners released thus far in the swap for Gilad Schalit had collectively killed 596 Israelis, according to the report.
