Health Ministry: Avoid cream with steroids

A face cream with steroids whose sale is forbidden but has been found on the market should not be used, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday. Called “Clear Cream Heimlich Natural,” the cream is supposed to be for “dry and sensitive skin.” The cream is manufactured by AMB, Jordan Agricultural Farm Ltd., located at Rehov Ha’uman 13, in Beit Shemesh’s northern industrial zone. Tests showed illegal steroids were in the product. The public should return the product to the retailer unused.

A notice from the US Food and Drug Administration said that the product was removed from the shelves after it was found to contain betamethasone valerate.
