IAF female cadet ejects from training aircraft

A female cadet in the IAF's Pilots Course was injured lightly after being forced to eject from her plane when it veered off the runway Israel Radio reported Thursday.
The cadet ejected out of her training aircraft according to protocol after the plane began veering left off the runway at a base in southern Israel, injuring her lightly.
According to Israel Radio, the pilot has been in the course for a year-and-a-half and was on her first solo flight.
The IAF is investigating the incident and whether it was a result of personal error or a technical failure.
The aircraft, "Efroni" or Hawker Beechcraft T-6 Texan II, has been temporarily grounded.
The "Efroni" replaced the "Zukit" or Fouga Magister aircraft, used for cadet training, and has been in operation for about a year.
