IDF: 73% of eligible youth asked to serve in combat units

The IDF has noted high motivation among youth to serve in combat units ahead of the beginning of the summer draft on Sunday.

The draft will last until the beginning of August.

According to the IDF, 73.3 percent of youth eligible to serve in combat positions asked to serve in combat units, an identical figure to last year’s draft.
