The Tel Aviv Magistrate's court on Tuesday extended the remand of a 30-year-old IDF captain who served as a body guard for IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi by 6 days. The man is being held on suspicion of attempting to rape a young woman in Tel Aviv's old port area on Saturday night. The young woman identified her alleged attacker in person at the Yarkon Police Station on Monday evening, despite earlier failing to do so when presented with a series of photographs.
