IFCJ to donate 1M NIS to Israeli Muslim Arabs during Ramadan

As part of their initiative to help support Arab-Israeli communities, The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) announced that they are donating 1 million NIS worth of food vouchers for Ramadan.
Some 3000 Arab-Israeli families will receive food vouchers totaling at least 350 NIS during the month-long festival, which will be distrusted the organization’s welfare offices across the country.
According to IFCJ Founder and President Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, these IFCJ donations help fill a void left by the government. “Until now the state has spoken a great deal about this need but has done very little.
It is important that the citizens of Israel understand that quality of life and feelings of equality among Arab citizens of Israel will ensure the security of the whole Israeli society and its future as a strong and moral nation,” he said.
