Daylight Saving Time began overnight between Thursday and Friday at 2 a.m. in Israel.
According to law, Daylight Saving Time lasts 212 days out of the year, ending on the night of Saturday, October 24.
According to the Interior Ministry, Daylight Saving Time saves the Israeli economy some NIS 300 million each year.
The changing of the clocks improves road safety, as well as contributing to better physical and mental health among citizens, according to the ministry.
