Israeli model awakes from sedation following scooter incident

Israeli model Shlomit Malka woke up from a medically-induced sedation on Monday.
She suffered a serious head injury following a fall from an electric scooter in Tel Aviv.
The cause was most likely due to the road being wet and slippery.
Malka was treated at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics before being transferred to Ichilov Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, where she was sedated and placed on a respirator
She is fully conscious.
