J'lem man suspected of slashing Judge Schneider's car tires

A 50-year-old man from Jerusalem was arrested on Monday morning on suspicion of having slashed the tires on Judge Anna Schneider’s car a day previously.
Police said evidence that tied the suspect to the incident was found when his car was searched. An investigation showed the man had a long-standing feud with a company currently overseeing the construction of a hotel in the capital.
The suspect denied the allegations against him. However, a thorough investigation led police to conclude that court-related motives may have caused him to commit acts of vandalism both against Schneider and against a court registrar.
Police will seek a remand extension.
