Jordan charges 4 with plans to attack foreigners

AMMAN, Jordan — Jordan's military prosecutor charged four militants with planning to attack US and other foreign troops abroad.
The four were charged late Monday with intent to join armed groups abroad fighting a holy war, or jihad. The armed groups were not identified.
The military prosecutor said three of the militants were arrested in the fall upon returning to Jordan from Syria and Turkey, where they awaited instructions from the fourth militant.
He remains at large.
