Judge rules on Green Party chairman Pe'er Visner forgery

The Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court convicted Tel Aviv Deputy Mayor Pe'er Visner on Tuesday of document forgery, using forged documents, and fraud.
Visner, who is also chairman of the Green Party, went on leave from his post as deputy mayor when the charges were first made against him in January.
Judge Daniel Beeri convicted Visner of all the charges listed in the indictment,  which had charged Visner with forging a rental lease for a Tel Aviv property he owns in order to pay reduced property taxes.
