Judicial Selection C'tee to rule on new appointments

The Judicial Selection Committee was expected to convene on Sunday in order to rule on the appointment of three judges to the Supreme Court, Army Radio reported.
According to sources from within the committee, Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch may not agree to the new appointments, including that of Judge Noam Sohlberg. If Beinisch does not approve the candidates, their appointments might be delayed until the court president's resignation in February.
