Citing a statement on the religiousleader's Web site, the news agency quoted Khamenei as saying that althoughIsrael posed “a great danger to the world of Islam ... expandingits influence and grip on the region,” the Jewish state would notsucceed in its plot to “erase Palestine from the world of Islamicnations.”
