Lebanese officials arrest man for conspiring with Israel

Lebanese security forces have arrested a Tyre resident in Southern Lebanon for working with Israeli intelligence since 2006 until early 2011, Lebanese Arabic-language daily Al-Manar reported the Lebanon's Homeland Security office as saying Monday.
According to Lebanese statement, the arrested man had "provided [Israel] detailed intelligence information and studies on the general situation in Lebanon, as well as information on his various relationships with different Hezbollah communities and their approaches to resistance," as well as information on the "sectarian and division of Tyre residents," in relation to Hezbollah and the "extent of cooperation between them."
