Lebanon to UN: Israel disrupting our cellphone interception

The foreign ministry in Beirut filed a complaint with the UN on Saturday, claiming that Israel is violating UN Security Council resolution 1701 by intentionally disrupting cellular phone interception in southern Lebanon. Lebanon's Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh wrote to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and said that Israel was causing the disruptions in an attempt to affect the outcome of the general elections scheduled to be held in Lebanon on Sunday, Israel Radio reported.
