Left-wing activists demonstrate for Palestinian state in TA

Thousands of protesters gathered in Tel Aviv on Saturday for a demonstration entitled "Netanyahu says no - we say yes to a Palestinian state."

The demonstration, including members of The Labor Party, Meretz, Hadash and Peace Now, set out from Rabin Square and was scheduled to end near the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, where a rally was expected to take place.

The organizers of the protest were inspired by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's speech to the US Congress last month in which they believe he responded negatively to every possible outline of a future Palestinian state.
