Local Authorities Union ends strike after gov't deal

The Local Authorities Union ended its strike Tuesday evening following talks with Prime Minister's Office director-general, Harel Loker.
Municipal workers went on strike Monday over a list of demands that included the freezing of damaging legislation and the cancellation of the 16 percent value-added tax on water.
